Historic Yates Mill County Park, Raleigh, NC
Getting to capture Nina and Joseph's maternity photos was such a joy and to say I'm OBSESSED would be an understatement!
We explored the park and picked out some pretty little spots to capture these beautiful moments.
I was so happy with how the weather turned out. It was a little questionable and rained on and off throughout the day but actually ended up being so beautiful during our session.
The sky was full of big clouds but the sun was still shining through, so we got this dreamy combination of a dramatic sky and golden hour lighting. (I am not going to lie, that combo was strangely hard to edit but it was a fun challenge and I love how it turned out.)
I also think this worked in our favor as the park was pretty empty even though it was a Sunday, and I think it's because a lot of people were scared off by the iffy forecast.
The whole session just turned out so romantic and fairytale-like. I am so grateful that Nina and Joseph gave me their full trust and were so go with the flow and easy going - it made it so easy to capture these magical moments.
